In the United Stars Military, the generic term for the housing on bases for unacompanied officers is Bachelor Officer Quarters. The exact form that these quarters take vary acording to the location and the officer's rank.
Depending on the installation, a junior officer might be assigned quarters with another one of the same rank. There are only 352 installations where senior officers are assigned the same quarters, and those are currently have additional housing being built.
Junior Officer's Quarters[]
Usually, a junior officer's bachelor's quarters will be fairly small containing just a bed, a desk with a basic GalNet terminal, a chair for use with the desk, an Auto Dresser and a basic hygiene cell[1].
Senior Officer's Quarters[]
Usually, a Senior officer's bachelor's quarters will be larger than the quarters of a junior officer at the same installation. The back room contains the bed, an Auto Dresser and a basic hygiene cell[1].
General Officer's Quarters[]
A General officer's bachelor's quarters are normally the largest and least austere bachelor's quarters on an installation. It's basic layout is the same as that of a Senior Officer's, but the quality of the furnishings will be better. It normally will be split into two spaces, with a entry room containing a desk, an Avatar Enabled GalNet Terminal, a chair for the desk and several other chairs and tables. The back room contains the bed, a Deluxe Auto Dresser and a hygiene cell[1].
