Dorm Group
Since every Star ship in the United Stars has a core of ten Senior (Or Department Officers) this constellation is reflected in the entire Officer training.
During Basic Training and Third year it is Nine Individuals and during the last “Midshipman Year” it is 10 Officers to a group. (The move from Nine to ten is made as the role of XO is introduced)
In Basic Training it begins with nine individuals to one Dorm. One of the Dorm members becomes the Dorm Elder and is in charge of the Dorm (and fellow dorm users) but also responsible for the state of the dorm etc.
The Concept is expanded in Year Three when Midshipman Groups are formed,usually aboard Ships.
In the Fourth year a tenth member is added.
