Computronic,
general term describing Computers, Biotronics, Positronics and other information processing devices.The term came into use after the Terran Ascent as the word computer did not really describe the various machines and systems available and used. Even the smallest and most common household item now carried some form of electronics. The first know use of the word was in 2122, Year OTT during a toothbrush commercial. When the company praised their toothbrush as a Comoutronic marvel that not only brushed teeth, but could make detailed oral and dental scans and recommend treatnments and such.
(The word was coined by ISAH labs and its development of Three Dimensional switches but the bad news during these years had the public forget the original announcment)
