Office and title in the Karthanian Society. The First Engineer is an Entity of unknown origin and no details are known what it actually is. The Karthanians are not sharing any information. The only information known is, that the First Engineer is “asleep” and has not made any decisions regarding the Karthanian Society in over 200 years. The Circle of Guild Masters , especially the Hull Makers do not really want the First Engineer to wake, as he/it would reclaim most of the powers and functions the Guild Masters and especially the Hull Makers have assumed. Waking the First Enineer is the declared goal of the Karthanian Rebels.
