The Golden used to be merchants themselves and many of their kind still cross the galaxies to trade , but mostly they now facilitate trade in one of their gigantic Golden markets. The closest one to Blue Moon is the Golden Market close to the Ballard Expanse called “Sobody's Seat”. While Golden Markets don't rarely look alike as they adapt to the surroundings and the real estate it is build on. They do share certain characteristics: a money exchange where local traders and merchants can exchange their currencies for “Gold Credits”. Since the Golden became a UnionMember Civilization some things have changed and some conditions are unique to the Golden Bazaars. Every Golden Bazaar has now a Travelers Aide Office for stranded Union Travelers. Golden Credits are now Union Credits. There is a Post Office. Not all Bazaars (especially the ones not in the M-0 Galaxy) are connected via Space Bus or Trans Dim ( Efforts are under way to remedy that) But travel arrangements can be made to any Golden Bazaar. All Golden Bazaars have now a Union Marine Security Office and a Federal Police Department. Some Golden Bazaars still have a Free Trade Zone , where wares that are deemed contraband or illegal can be sold or purchased ( Only at Bazaars outside Union Space)
