Born into an old family of mushroom and algae farmers he decided for a career in Starfleet. In 5014 he was offered the command seat of the USS Alexandria an old battle ship that had recently be refurbished and upgraded. The Alexandria and he were transferred to the 12th fleet and COWACOM under Admiral Bill StrotherJackson made history by being the first Union being to set foot on Koken and claim the planet for the Union.
