Fact

A L.E.G.O. factory is basically a Nano Assembler. These systems usually utilize a combination of robot and nanobot assets. They are made to produce either something from a fixed list of items, something custom designed provided complete specs are available, or copies of certain commercially available products.  In most civilian models these L.E.G.O. factories need to have access to GALNet for molecule map downloads or authorization to manufacture an item that has copyright or trademark restrictions (such as brand named foods, designer clothing, etc.). There are a vast number of public domain molecule maps available for almost anything - like diapers, spoons, basic toys to tools, simple chem weapons, edged weapons and all the way to do it yourself Floater frames and space ship hulls ( More complex systems such as Arti Gravs and Engines still need to be ordered and shipped)

Attempting to bypass the safeguards to prevent unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted or trademarked products will render the L.E.G.O.[1] Factory inoperable and it needs to be reset by a Company technician after the legal fees are paid.

[1] The first Nanite Assembler was built and marketed for general use by the renowned high tech company Luna-Earth Gear & Ordinace Inc. Since the abbreviation was the same as a very popular Earth construction toy product these assemblers became known as L.E.G.O. factories. The military versions are not as restricted as the civilian ones and models range from small automated waste recyclers to the latest SII - Nano Assemblers able to churn out Battle ship hulls and frames.

The military standard version works in concert with Engineering robots.

L.E.G.O factory is a general use term and technically only to be used by products of Luna-Earth and the official terms are Nano Assembly Unit, or Nanite Factory.

The Military used genuine Luna Earth products.
