Volting
Galactic Council species with very little Union Contact. Not much is known about the Volting,other than that they are a TL 6 Society with an almost anarcistic society. It is said the Volting are extremely individualistic oriented and have no real form of government. Union Intel is certain the Volting are only GC members because their star- system is within the Kermac Sphere of influence. Union Intel sources also claim that the Kermac find it disfficult to effectivley rule the Volting, who despite PSI Will amplifiers still don't adjust well to authority of any kind.[1]
[1] The Volting returned to be an independent species after the fall of the Kermac in 5050 and were virtually exterminated by the Togar who wanted to use the
power vacuum to expand their Empire. The Togar had as little success as the GC to really rule the Volting and in anger killed almost all Volting.
A small colony of Volting exists within Union Borders (about 150,000). The Colony is Union Member and hired a Representative as they could not find a Volting willing / able to speak
for them all. Very few Union Volting ever applied for Union Military Service, but several can be found in the Union Ranger Service or in Union Post Office Service.
